Jalanan (umum/tol) rusak ? Ada lubang di jalan ?
Kini penyelenggaranya (perusahaan tol / pemda) bisa kena denda, menurut UU 22 tahun 2009 ini.
Dikutip :
Pasal 24
(1) Penyelenggara Jalan wajib segera dan patut untukmemperbaiki Jalan yang rusak yang dapatmengakibatkan Kecelakaan Lalu Lintas.
(2) Dalam hal belum dapat dilakukan perbaikan Jalan yangrusak sebagaimana dimaksud pada ayat (1),penyelenggara Jalan wajib memberi tanda atau rambu pada Jalan yang rusak untuk mencegah terjadinyaKecelakaan Lalu Lintas.
Hukuman / denda2nya bagi sang penyelenggara dibahas pada Pasl 273.

Superbugs - bakteri yang tahan antibiotik, ternyata berasal dari peternakan. Bukan dari rumah sakit, seperti yang diduga.

"A different study done by Silbergeld entailed simply driving behind poultry trucks headed to slaughter. The insides of the passenger vehicles that followed the trucks, where none of these antibacterial-resistant bugs were found beforehand, were coated with such microbes afterwards. "
"Another Johns Hopkins researcher, Kellogg Schwab, says he's more than just concerned:
"This development of drug resistance scares the hell out of me. If we continue on and we lose the ability to fight these microorganisms, a robust, healthy individual has a chance of dying, where before we would be able to prevent that death." Another heartwarming story of a determined individual which able to make the world a better place for others.

Just another reminder that, yes, we can. YOU can do it too.
We don't need to surrender to our current condition. We can actually do something about it, if we're determined enough.
As an old Indonesian saying says, "Where there's determination, there'll be a way". Mr Raju has proven this for himself and others. Congratulations for them.
